About
Welcome! My name is Kris Wampler, and I’m an independent author. Since starting KWB in late October 2011, I have interviewed over 100 authors, editors, and other professionals in the writing world. KWB has become a leader in the indie community, with tangible results: more sales, more clients, and more exposure for authors. Check out the Testimonials page to learn more.
The purpose of my blog is threefold:
- Promote my writing
- Promote other indie authors’ writing
- Provide advice from indie authors on the self-publishing process
I’m always looking for new authors to interview and promote. If you’d like your work to be considered, send me an email at indiewriting [at] gmail [dot] com. Please note that I do not review books. While I interview authors of almost any book, there are certain genres I do not feature on my blog (chief among them erotica or anything anti-Christian).
I also recently self-published my first book, Love Train. More information can be found on the “My Books” page here.
Thanks for reading, and keep writing!

Hello Kris, great reading about you and your blog here. I was directed here by Osayi’s interview on “Impossible is Stupid”. Keep up the great work! Cheers.
Much appreciated! Thanks for the comment and for reading. Let me know, too, if you’d like an interview some time.
Kris, thanks for the offer. I would sure let you know when I do. Cheers.
I’ll check your book out sometime, broheim.

Drop me a note at foxxgrp@gmail.com when you get some time.
